Every year in Toronto there is an unofficial Parade. I always go all out, and this year, there will be an episode to share it all! Watch for that in November- can?t wait!
But it?s wonderful for other reasons, as the Sun moving into any sign is. It?s the focus and clarity to move towards the higher qualities of a sign, or in this case, the sign of the life-death-rebirth cycle, the esoteric arts, and transformation.
Just like life-death-rebirth seem to be on separate corners of a very wide trinity, it might be hard to reconcile the two dominant vibes this week.
On the one hand, there?s an inspired, glamorous, and positively dreamy sweet conversation between the Sun and Neptune, bolstered by Mercury and Venus in a flirtation of their own. While on the other, there is Saturn and the Sun seem shockingly close, in fact meeting in the sky, and the fear a conversation between these two might induce. As it turns out, it is in fact this configuration that is the greatest gift, ensuring the week doesn?t simply go up in dreams, hopes, wishes, and pink haze. The further we are from a loving, realistic vision, the harder we are brought back. But if we?ve been keeping it real, this can be a time of great reward, marked by tangible gains.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Hello Fabulous Gemini! Time is just what it is. It does not make judgments; we do that. Time does not ask of anything, it is our own motivation that leads the effort. It is a gentle call to appreciate one of the very few things we can know for sure, which is that this life is all we can be certain of. When the Buddhists say this moment is all we have, they aren?t kidding.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Hello Fabulous Leo! As one of my fabulous friends and fans out there, chances are, something in you believes that The Universe is Wise and Loving. You have chosen my interpretation of the sky at this point in your life because it is a message that resonates with you. We normally think of this statement as expressing a passive state, but there is actually a strong, active principle at play here. It involves observing moments when we are taken the other way, and consciously coming back on the path. Moving towards love and wisdom also asks that we place a priority of love of self. Understanding it is self-value and self respect that allows the truest value of others to arise.
This week will likely bring a need to prioritize the basic value you know you deserve, trust your feelings, and declare it when the moment calls for it. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Hello Fabulous Virgo! My mother and I were in sweet conversation recently, both reflecting and relating. We were considering all those times when we thought, in the moment, that we were being done harm by someone?s ill-will, but without them realizing it, they were actually doing us a great favor. Because of those tough situations and in some cases less than harmonious personalities, we got out of situations that were draining, jobs we hated, connections that were unbalanced, and anything not contributing to a positive feeling or direction we were truly meant to go in.
It is only now in retrospect that we know, the most appropriate response is to thank them. Thank him or her for unconsciously playing the exact role they were meant to, so we could move our lives towards greater love and wisdom.
You will likely have an experience that takes you down the road of this understanding, or you will have such a conversation that brings forward a splurge of gratitude. You?ll appreciate all those who you resented at the time, yet ultimately led you to a great place because of those experiences. You?re moving towards a deeper contentment than you have known.
